We all want to be SEEN, your About Page is the perfect page to SEE your people instead of only showing them who you are. Remember to keep both parts brief. This is NOT the time to write your life's story. You can save your stories for Instagram & blog posts. I generally write the About page in 2 parts.

THIS WILL BE A CAPTIVATING HEADER HERE.

Showcase the problems they may not even realize are problems (as it relates to what you solve). For example.... if you are guiding mothers away from martyrdom... your ideal clients may not even realize that the very thing they think they are doing to help their family is hurting their family, so writing clear, accurate & applicable examples of what this looks like on the daily will allow your clients to be open to the solution you provide. First, we educate on the problem and then offer a solution.

The first part is about you SEEing them as it relates to the problem you solve and the unique way you solve it.


For example... Let's say you are a coach for mothers craving more. Your bio could look like this...

As it turns out, my dream of motherhood felt more like a nightmare. 

I was living to make sure my kids & husband were thriving while I barely survived. My nerves were fried (hello, having tantrums right along with my 2-year-old), constantly snapping every time I heard mommy, mom, mama, maaaaammmm, and the turning point.... when a friend asked what I do for fun? I had no idea. NOT. ONE. CLUE.  

As the adage goes, you cannot give what you do not have. I did not have joy, patience, presence, freedom, inspiration, or play anywhere inside of me, so how could I be the calm, compassionate, and nurturing mother I imagined myself to be?!

And that's when I knew reclaiming my self-importance was no longer negotiable. 

The mother I craved to be could ONLY be once I mothered the woman I am, the child I was, and the woman I am becoming. 

And I want this for you. 

I want to help you honor, nourish, discover, and revere your whole so you can show up for your whole world.
